K-12: Circular Connect Challenges

Schools can participate on our Circular Connect Challenges by enrolling in our Challenge program and access resources for their classrooms that enable learning, creative thinking and problem solving. Classrooms can submit their challenges at the two competition events.

Top 3 winning teams will receive awards sponsored by our partners:

  1. FREE Classroom Tour to Boreal Farms (Bus and Food not included)
  2. FREE Workshop at your school from STEM Minds
  3. Farm In a Box Grow Kit for your classroom

Challenge Terms:

  • Challenge 1: May 4 – June 8, 2026
  • Challenge 2: Sept 14 – Oct 19, 2026

Once teams complete the pre-survey, you will receive an email with details on how to access the resources and start working on your challenge with your classroom.

Challenge Title

Circular Connect Schools Challenge: “From Waste to Worth”

Objective

Students apply circular economy principles to reduce waste at school and home, focusing on composting, upcycling, and sustainable design.
Aligned with your goal of building circular literacy and behavior change among Grades 4–12 students.
