Build your skills and explore advanced technology concepts with the Inno-Hive STEM Skill Building Workshop Series!
This workshop series is intended for youth ages 18-30 who are looking to build their skills and explore the technologies powering our world.

All workshops are beginner- level, informational-based sessions to support a deeper understanding of key principles of the topic. No prior experience is needed to participate.

The workshops will be run virtually through Zoom. In order to participate, you will need access to a laptop with an internet connection. See individual workshop descriptions for details.

Once you have registered for the workshop, you will receive a separate email containing details on how to access the session at least 48 hours before the start of the workshop.

In this workshop, we will explore the many facets of cybersecurity, how technology and systems are built to protect us, and the role we need to play in protecting ourselves.

Introduction to Artificial Intelligence [Pre-Recorded]
Artificial Intelligence is taking over in every industry and every aspect of our lives. It can seem like a ultra-futuristic idea, but it's actually something we already interact with every single day.

In this workshop, we will explore what AI actually is, how it works, how it is (and isn't!) being used, and where it's going.

Intro to Environmental Tech
Technology has continuously changed the ways in which we live, work, relate to each other, and relate to the world around us. Historically, the advancement of technology and the development of our societies has been coupled to environmental degradation – but it doesn’t have to be that way.

In this workshop, we’ll introduce some key environmental challenges our civilization is facing, and how we can leverage technology to address them to create a brighter future for our planet.

Data Visualization with Processing
Processing is emerging as one of the most popular programming languages around the world for its usability and visual nature. In this workshop, participants will learn how to use Processing to create powerful data visualizations.

This workshop is a great introduction to coding for those with no experience as well as provides opportunities for more experienced learners to discover a new use case for code.
